25 | Due to COVID-19, On 02/25/2022 LPA Kay Phillips conducted a Case Management inspection to provide technical assistance. There were 2 all school closures on the following dates: 08/24/2021 - 08/31/2021 and 10/8/2021 to 10/15/202. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kay Phillips met with Officer Manager, Debbie Andrews. A tour of the facility was conducted and a census was taken.
During the inspection, LPA reviewed and discussed COVID-19 guidelines, resources, and postings with the officer manager. COVID-19 information posters including hand-washing posters were observed in child care areas. LPA observed COVID 19 posters at the entrance of the facility, as well as hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility. Parents complete a daily COVID 19 liability release form and there is a student temperature station, where the child's temperature is taken electronically. There is a shoe sanitizing station where all students sanitize their shoes prior to entering the classrooms. All staff were observed wearing face coverings in the classroom. Most children were wearing face coverings, but there was a small number that were not wearing face coverings. The licensee was advised to follow the child care industry guidelines on face coverings, sanitation and other infection prevention measures.
