On April 3, 2024, at 09:08 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Courtnee Peebles arrived unannounced to KIDDIE ACADEMY OF MURRIETA (CCC) and met with Director, Breeana Baker to discuss the investigative findings of the allegation listed above. On April 3 at 09:08 PM, LPA conducted a tour and census of the CCC. During the investigation, LPA conducted confidential interviews with seven staff (S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7).

On March 5, 2024, a complaint was received with allegations stating, Staff do not take precautions to prevent the spread of hand, foot, and mouth disease and Staff did not ensure that children's toys and the facility were sanitized. Seven of seven interviews revealed that all parents were notified of the hands,foot, mouth outbreak as well as postings were placed on doors throughout the CCC to ensure parents were aware of the outbreak.

Interviews also revealed that due to the absentee children in the facility classrooms were able to combine, shutting other classrooms down for sanitation. Futhermore, the CCC staff does all sanitizing themselves taking all precautions to ensure the health and safety of the children in care, toys cots and all surface levels were cleaned and sanitized properly.

Based on confidential interviews conducted during the investigation the allegation Staff do not take precautions to prevent the spread of hand, foot, and mouth disease and Staff did not ensure that children's toys and the facility were sanitized, is not supported or proven by evidence. Therefore, the above allegations are unsubstantiated. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. A copy of this report and appeal rights were given and explained to Director Reyna Mcgovern
