25 | On the above date and time Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Susan Brewer, arrived at the facility for the purpose of conducting a case management inspection, in response to the receipt of an unusual incident report (UIR) from the facility. The UIR was received by the licensing agency on 09/15/2023. It indicates that the facility was temporarily closed due to water damage located in the kitchen, impacting the daycare area. The LPA was greeted by Licensee Rana Abdraboh and granted entry to tour the facility inside and out. A census was taken of 4 children present in care. Also present with the licensee were 2 residents. The following was discussed: During the inspection the LIC279 was updated due to changes in the home, where resident adults are no longer residing in the home. The LIC610A was updated and various licensing forms were provided to the licensee.
The licensee stated they had a water leak under the kitchen sink back in July 2023. The water leak impacted the daycare areas due to required construction to complete repairs to the kitchen area. Per licensee construction ended on 09/15/2023 and the facility re-opened on 09/18/2023. LPA S.Brewer, toured the facility kitchen area and observed the area to be safe. All new cabinets have safety latches where required and all hazardous cooking equipment is inaccessible to children and all cleaning supplies are locked in the laundry room. Based on information gathered, the facility acted appropriately and no violations have been identified and the licensee is in compliance with Title 22 regulations. In addition, the LPA conducted a follow-up on an self reported incident received on 09/22/2023. No violations were determined for this incident.
