25 | The purpose of this inspection was to conduct a case management evaluation of the facility for decreasing capacity. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrea Taylor toured the facility inside and out. LPA met with Director, Pamela McIntyre. The facility received an increase in capacity from 45 preschool children to 62 preschool children on 8/16/21. The fire clearance for both the preschool and new school age classrooms were approved on 8/6/21. A subsequent fire clearance for the school age classrooms was denied. The new school age classrooms cannot be utilized with a denied fire clearance. LPA discussed the plan going forward with the owner, Liz De la luz. The owner states Room#1 will be used for the school age children as before 8/6/21. This requires the preschool capacity to remain at 45 preschool children. The owner has withdrawn the applications for increases to the preschool and school age programs. Any changes in the future shall reported to the licensing office and approved by the fire department. A review of staff criminal clearance records on this date indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions.
Rooms #2, 3 and 4 accommodate 45 preschool children. There are 3 toilets and 3 sinks accommodating 45 children.

All appeals must be in writing and received by the Licensing office within 15 business days. Exit interview was conducted.
