Interviews conducted disclosed individuals have heard from others regarding staff speaking inappropriately towards adults. It was disclosed these individuals did not witness staff speaking inappropriately towards adults themselves. It was not clear whether children were present at the time of the alleged incidents. Due to conflicting statements, it is determined there was a lack of clear corroborating evidence to support the above allegation.
Based on information obtained during interviews, it is determined that the allegation could not be substantiated or dismissed. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur; therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
An exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Hanbo (Hank) Liang, and director, Jennifer House. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. A copy of Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) in Chinese was provided to Licensee. |
