25 | On February 03, 2026, at 10:08 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gabriela Hernandez arrived at CVUSD- Valle Del Sol (CCC) and conducted a Case Management visit for the purpose of inspecting newly installed playground equipment. LPA met with Facility Representative Marivel Garcia and discussed the following.
On October 6, 2025, CCC staff submitted an update from the plan of correction from deficiency issued on September 30, 2025, indicating that a new playground would be installed. On January 18, 2026, LPA Hernandez was provided with a written plan outlining measures to ensure the safety of children and staff while construction was on going and playground space was closed.The construction area was made inaccessible with temporary fencing from January 20, 2026 thru February 2, 2026. During the construction period, pre-school children used separate grass field area that was previously licensed and considered accessible to children.
At time of today's inspection, LPA toured the playground and noted the following: Play structure is firmly anchored to the ground, shade is provided by canopy and adequate cushioning material (rubber turf) was installed under play structure. LPA confirmed the new play structures has a manufacture sign that provides an age recommendation of 2-5 years. LPA Hernandez did not observe any health or safety concerns while touring the playground or facility and no deficiencies were cited.
An exit interview was conducted, LPA Hernandez provided Facility Representative, Marivel Garcia, with a copy of this report and a notice of site visit. Notice of site visit must be displayed in a prominent location for the next 30 days.
