On 01/28/2025 at 12:30 PM Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Giselle Carbullido and Chase Atherton conducted a Licensee initiated case management inspection with facility representative, Amila Chandrapala. The facility is requesting to temporarily use a private school classroom (#2) to accommodate 45 additional preschool children from a second site undergoing emergency repairs. Facility is requesting preschool capacity for 81 children until repairs are completed at the other site.
LPAs observed and/or discussed the following: * Email notification for additional follow up inspection with Fire Marshall/authority regarding usage of private school classroom.
* Corrected 200A as requested by fire authority for capacity 81.
* LPAs observed 4 licensed bathrooms for current daycare capacity with an additional 2 bathroom available in proposed private school classroom.
LPAs observed the private school classroom and floor to be clean, safe and free from hazards. * LPAs observed hazards, poisons and toxins inaccessible to children which includes cleaning solutions and other items that are dangerous to children. *The facility has a functioning carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector.
LPAs obtained updated proposed sketch for usage of private school classroom # 2.
LPAs toured the facility and obtained the following measurements: Private school classroom # 2 indoor activity space: LPAs have determined that there is sufficient space to accommodate 26 children.
Preschool Outdoor Activity Area: Pre licensing report dated 01/2020 determined that there is sufficient space to accommodate 30 children. LPAs observed waiver on file for shared playground with private elementary school.

LPAs observed the private school classroom to be in substantial compliance. A follow up case management visit may be required once fire clearance report is obtained, and capacity is determined.
During the exit interview, a copy of this report, notice of site visit and appeal rights were provided to Licensee, Amila Chandrapala.
