32 | The Director acknowledged that the facility does have rollie pollies and that she is taking corrective measurements to exterminate the rollie pollies. Furthermore, according to the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources website “Pillbugs (family Armadillididae) and sowbugs (family Porcellionidae) are not insects or true bugs. They are soil-dwelling crustaceans in the order Isopoda (called isopods).” With this information, it is reasonable to conclude that no Health and Safety or Title 22 violation has occurred.
Based on the information obtained during the investigation conducted at the facility. It was concluded that there is not enough evidence to corroborate that a violation of CCL regulations occurred. Therefore, the agency has found that the complaints are UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning that the allegation was false, could not have happened and/or is without reasonable basis.
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to current Site Director, Melissa Borboa.
A Notice of Site Visit was also provided and posted which must stay posted for 30 days.
This report must be available to the public upon request for three years. |
