25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Giselle Carbullido and Perla Ordones arrived at the facility to inspect an additional room per Licensee’s request. LPAs met and were granted entry by Licensee, Victoria Santana. During the visit LPAs inspected room #5 on facility sketch and located off the dining area. Per the Licensee the room will be used for additional day-care space and received clearance from fire authority.
LPAs observed the following: * A new fire clearance dated 10/19/23 granted use of the following rooms for day-care: kitchen, dining room; living room; and room number 5.
* Indoor bathroom located in main hallway to be used for day-care. Room number 5’s floor and room appear to be clean, safe and free from hazards. * Hazards are stored where inaccessible to children which includes cleaning solutions and other items that are dangerous to children. * Storage areas for poisons and toxins are locked. *The home has a functioning Carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector.
LPAs observed and reviewed current operating sketch with Licensee and clarified which indoor bathroom is to be used for day-care. Licensee identified areas on limits as follows: the living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway bathroom #2, room #5 and outside play area. The following areas are off limits: Bedrooms 2 and 3 , connecting bathroom #1, pantry, laundry room, master bedroom, outdoor bathrooms and garage.
Room #5 is in substantial compliance. During the exit interview, a copy of this report, notice of site visit and appeal rights were provided to Licensee Victoria Santana. |
