On March 18, 2024 at 3:00 pm, Licensing Program Analyst(LPA), Diana Brasel conducted an announced Pre-Licensing inspection for a Change of Ownership. Upon arrival, LPA met with Applicant representative De Anne Mc Cashland. On 2/13/2024 a visit was conducted for this pending application request. It was discovered after the original PL visit that the non-walking infant room building #1 has an address of 4251 Jurupa Avenue Riverside CA 92506, the building sits adjacent to 4259 Jurupa Avenue Riverside CA 92506, the facility will be operating as one campus for the two address numbers. Both address, 4251 and 4259 will have their own license numbers. A granted approved Fire Clearance has been granted as of 12/21/2023. Hours of operation will be Monday-Friday 6:30 am-6:00 pm.

This report will document the corrected requested totals and square footage for the 3 components requested for 4259 Jurupa Avenue Riverside CA 92506. The facility has submitted updated LIC 200A's for both 4251 and 4259 Jurupa Avenue Riverside CA 92506. LPA Brasel will submit the updated LIC 200A's to the local Fire Marshall to obtain the corrected capacity for both address and comments. The facility has requested for 4259 Jurupa Avenue Riverside CA 92506, Infant building #2 per granted Fire Clearance walking infants 24, Preschool 103, and school age 58. On today's visit there were a total of 124 children located at 4259 Jurupa Avenue Riverside CA 92506 for all 3 programs and sufficient staff.

Total indoor activity space measured, Infant room building #2 1250.08, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of (24) Children. Total indoor activity space measured, Pre-school 3616.64, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of (103) Children. Total indoor activity space measured, School-Age, 2193.20, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of (58).

A total of (2) sinks, 1 changing table, 1 toilet, and 2 potty chairs for Infant children’s use, total of (16) sinks and (11) toilets available for Pre-School children's use, total of (4) sinks and (4) toilets available for School-age. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of (40) Infant children,
(103) Pre-school, and (58) School-Age. There is a separate staff restroom equipped with a toilet and a sink. The isolation area for children who are ill will be the in the Main Office.

The facility currently has a fully fenced playground area. Fencing combination of wrought iron and block walls is at least four feet high. The total square footage for the outdoor activity space is Infant 1671.94 which equals 22 children not sufficient for the requested capacity of 24, a waiver will be requested. Preschool 8812.69, and School-age 11500.37. The Preschool and School-age is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity.

The following corrections are needed prior to the issuance of the license:


1. An updated Fire Clearance to identify building #1 notes and capacity will be requested to the Local
Fire. The facility has proved updated LIC 2002A's for both addresses of 4251 and 4259 Jurupa
Avenue Riverside, CA. 92506.
2. A granted Waiver for the Director to oversee both addresses of 4251 and 4259 Jurupa Avenue
Riverside CA 92506 working as one campus will be needed.
3. A granted Waiver for the infant building #2 playground outdoor schedule to not exceed 22 children
at any given time will be needed due to outdoor square footage.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
