25 | On 11/12/2024 at 10:00 am , Licensing Program Analyst(s) (LPA), Griselda Castellon and LPA's Diana Brasel conducted an announced Pre-Licensing inspection for a Change of Ownership. Upon arrival, LPA's met with Licensee Ma Del Socorro. Applicant is requesting to be licensed for 14 infants
6 weeks- 24 months in classroom 3, the napping area is room 2, 62 preschoolers 2-5 years old in classrooms 1, 4, 10A and 10B and 9; 17 school-age children ages 6-12 years old in classroom 5. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA's informed
Ms. Ma and Ms. Delmy that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities. When medications are on site, Ms. Ma stated that they will be in locked in the office. A fully equipped first aid kit is located in the office. Carbon monoxide detectors are located in all the classroom. All required licensing documents were observed posted in each classroom. Children will be signed in and out in the office.
LPA's continued to tour the facility and measured all indoor and outdoor activity space. Total indoor activity space measured for infant 622.08, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity, preschool 2180.44, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity, school-age 622.08, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. . LPA's observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping mats, cribs, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Infant toys are safe with no sharp edges, splinters, or points, nor made of small parts that can present a choking hazard. |
