25 | On 5/10/22 at 10:17AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanette Sanchez arrived at the facility to conduct a pre-licensing inspection. Present during this inspection was applicant Alberta Lua. The home is single story with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with guest house with bathroom for adult resident. At 10:28 AM, LPA toured the facility, inside and out with applicant and the following was observed and/or discussed:
· Per Applicant, off-limit areas include: kitchen, bedrooms 2 and 3, bathroom 2 and guest house with bathroom 3. All of backyard is off limits. Off-limit areas child safety door knobs and a gate to the guest house, making them inaccessible to children. However, the kitchen, hall closets and bathroom sink cabinets need child safety latches.
· Normal hours of operation will be: Mon-Sat, 6am to 6pm. Ages served 5 months to 12yrs.
· Smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide detectors were tested by the applicant during this inspection and were in working order.
· There is central heating and air conditioning.
· The fire extinguisher is a 2A10BC , fully charged and met standards established by the State Fire Marshal.
· All hazardous items were observed to be in cabinets/closets which require latches. Poisons and toxins are not present in home. Applicant explained that anything that would require chemicals/poisons (ie, pool service, pest control, car maintenance) are all out sourced. Sharp items including kitchen knives, are stored in top drawer to the left of the stove - requires latch. Medicines are to be locked and stored in top kitchen cupboards.
· First Aid Kit is not present. Applicant will purchase one and keep it on the counter top. Medicines will be removed. |
