25 | On August 25, 2022 at 9:07 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nasha King arrived at the facility to conduct a pre-licensing inspection. Present during this inspection were: Monica Aguilar and Lora Mora. The home is a single-story residence with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with an attached garage. A fire clearance was granted on August 10, 2022 by the Riverside County Fire Department. LPA toured the facility, inside and out with Ms. Aguilar and Ms. Mora and the following was observed and/or discussed:
· Per Applicant, off-limit areas include: Kitchen, Master bedroom & bathroom, Bedrooms 1 & 2, Dog area (located outside), and Garage. Off-limit areas have keys locks and/or doorknob safety covers making them inaccessible to children.
· Normal hours of operation will be: Monday - Friday, 6 AM – 6 PM.
· Smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide detectors were tested by the applicant during this inspection and were in working order.
· There is central heating and air conditioning.
· The fire extinguisher is a 2-A:10BC, fully charged and met standards established by the State Fire Marshal.
· All hazardous items were observed to be inaccessible. Storage of poisons and toxins are inaccessible to children and locked in the garage. Sharp items including kitchen knives, are inaccessible and stored in a magnetic locked kitchen drawer. Medicines are locked and stored in the master bathroom under the counter.
· First Aid Kit is located in the hallway linen closet on the top shelf and contains all required items.
· There is a gun and is stored in the facility as of this date. Applicant understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations.
· There are no stairs in the home.
· The fireplace is properly screened.
· Clean, safe and age-appropriate toys were observed.
· LPA observed a working telephone, which is the applicant’s cellphone. |
