25 | On 10/19/2022 at 11:39 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanette Sanchez arrived at the facility to conduct a pre-licensing inspection. Present during this inspection were: applicant, spouse, two adult residents. The home is single story with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, with attached garage. At 12:06 PM, LPA toured the facility, inside and out with applicant and the following was observed and/or discussed:
· Per Applicant, off-limit areas include: all bedrooms, utility room, storage room, two restrooms, closet, garage, laundry room. Off-limit areas have safety gate, making them inaccessible to children.
· Normal hours of operation will be: Mon-Fri, 7am to 6pm
· Smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide detectors were tested by the applicant during this inspection and were in working order.
· There is central heating and air conditioning.
· The fire extinguisher is a 2A10BC , fully charged and met standards established by the State Fire Marshal.
· All hazardous items were observed to be inaccessible. Storage of poisons and toxins are inaccessible to children and locked in garage. Sharp items including kitchen knives, are inaccessible and stored in kitchen cabinet. Medicines are locked and stored in utility room.
· First Aid Kit is located in the daycare room and contains all required items.
· No guns or weapons are stored in the facility as of this date. Applicant understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations.
· Electronic fireplace on premises
· Clean, safe and age appropriate toys were observed.
· LPA observed a working telephone - applicant cell phone. |
