25 | On 1/12/2023 at 12:23 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanette Sanchez arrived at the facility to conduct a pre-licensing inspection. Present during this inspection were: applicant. The home is single story home with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with attached garage. At 12:45 PM, LPA toured the facility, inside and out with applicant and the following was observed and/or discussed. Fire clearance received 11/29/2022.
· Per Applicant, off-limit areas include: Bedrooms 1,3,4. Laundry room, Garage. Off-limit areas have gates, safety knob covers and latches making them inaccessible to children.
· Normal hours of operation will be: Mon-Fri, 6:30am to 6pm
· Smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide detectors were tested by the applicant during this inspection and were in working order.
· There is central heating and air conditioning.
· The fire extinguisher is a 2A10BC, fully charged and met standards established by the State Fire Marshal.
· All hazardous items were observed to be inaccessible. Storage of poisons and toxins are inaccessible to children and locked in bedroom 4. Sharp items including kitchen knives, are inaccessible and stored in latched drawer. Medicines are locked and stored in kitchen cupboard.
· First Aid Kit is located in the hall cupboard, on top shelf, and contains all required items.
· No guns or weapons are stored in the facility as of this date. Applicant understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations.
· The fireplace is properly screened
· Clean, safe and age appropriate toys were observed.
· LPA observed a working telephone - applicant's cell phone
· There were no toxic plants inside or outside the facility observed at this time |
