25 | On date and time listed, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lorena Valenzuela arrived at the facility to conduct an annual inspection as part of a compliance review. LPA toured the facility, inside and out, records were reviewed, and the following was observed and/or discussed:
· Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday to Saturday 4:00am to 11:30 pm
· Off-limit areas include: room 1-3, garage, pool area, kitchen
· The facility is licensed to have no more than 8 children as a (small FCCH) and is operating within the licensed capacity and appropriate ratios. There is one seven children in the home.
· Appropriate supervision was being provided during this inspection
· A working telephone is present, and the current phone number is on file
· A fully charged fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) was observed. A smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector were present and tested by the Licensee during this inspection.
· There is a fireplace in the home , is covered and inaccessible
· All hazardous items are stored inaccessible to children
· Toxins are locked and inaccessible to children in care.
· Weapons are not present per licensee, according to Title 22. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations
· Clean, safe, and age-appropriate toys are provided. LPA observed leaves and tree debris in backyard area, LPA reminded licensee home must be maintained clean and orderly as to not pose a potential hazard to children in care. The trampoline and its surrounding cover appear to be in good repair with no tears or exposed springs. The licensee agrees to only use the trampoline in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines and will provide adequate supervision to all children in care.
