25 | On 9/25/24 at 8:57am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanette Sanchez arrived at the facility to conduct an annual inspection as part of a compliance review. The licensee has applied to increase capacity to a large family childcare home and a review of the application was also included in the inspection. Fire Clearance was approved by Riverside County Fire Department on 9/18/2024. LPA toured the facility, inside and out, records were reviewed, and the following was observed and/or discussed:
· Normal days and hours of operation are: Mon-Fri, 5am to 3:30pm
· Off-limit areas include: all bedrooms, kitchen, storage, laundry room (garage has been converted to a 5th bedroom) and right side of backyard
· The facility is licensed to have no more than 8 children as a small FCCH and is operating within the licensed capacity and appropriate ratios. (2:3)
· Appropriate supervision was being provided during this inspection
· A working telephone is present, and the current phone number is on file
· A fully charged fire extinguisher (3A:40BC) was observed. A smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector were present and tested by the Licensee during this inspection.
· All hazardous items are stored inaccessible to children
· Toxins are locked and inaccessible to children in care.
· Weapons are not present. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations
· Clean, safe and age appropriate toys are provided
· Current roster on file
