25 | On 4/4/2023 at 9:27am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanette Sanchez arrived at the facility to conduct a pre-licensing inspection. Present during this inspection were: applicant and daughter. The home is single story with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with detached garage. At 10:00am, LPA toured the facility, inside and out with applicant and daughter and the following was observed and/or discussed:
· Per Applicant, off-limit areas include: bedrooms 2-4, bathroom 2, kitchen, dining room, yard except for front, garage and backyard storage. Off-limit areas have safety gates and safety knobs, making them inaccessible to children.
· Normal hours of operation will be: Mon-Fri. 7am to 5pm
· Smoke detectors detector was tested by the applicant during this inspection and was in working order. Carbon Monoxide not present and will need to be purchased.
· There is central heating and air conditioning.
· The fire extinguisher is a 2A:10BC, fully charged and met standards established by the State Fire Marshal.
· All hazardous items were observed to be inaccessible. Storage of poisons and toxins are inaccessible to children. They are locked in the outside driveway storage. Sharp items including kitchen knives, are inaccessible and stored in an upper cabinet. Medicines are locked and stored in bedroom 3.
· First Aid Kit is located in the room 4 (daycare room), and contains all required items.
· No guns or weapons are stored in the facility as of this date. Applicant understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations.
· Clean, safe and age appropriate toys were observed.
· LPA observed a working telephone located living room and applicant's cell phone.
· There were no toxic plants inside or outside the facility observed at this time
