On 9/24/2024 at 8:19am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanette Sanchez arrived at the facility to conduct an inspection. The licensee has applied to increase capacity to a large family childcare home. Fire Clearance was approved by Indio Fire Department on 9/5/2024.

Upon entering the home, LPA found numerous toys and trash on the floor, causing a tripping hazard. Backyard has not been in use due to high temperatures. This has resulted in an accumulation of dirt and cobwebs on toys and equipment. LPA consulted and issued an Advisory Note - Technical Violation (LIC9102).

An annual inspection was conducted on 6/18/2024. All deficiencies cited during the inspection remain corrected.

· Normal days and hours of operation are: Mon-Sat, 4am to 9pm

· Off-limit areas include: all bedrooms, side yard, patio next to garage.

LPA consulted regarding supervision, ratio and capacity.

The application for a Large Family Child Care Home will be submitted for approval with a maximum capacity of 12, or 14 with parent notification.



An exit interview was conducted, and this report was reviewed with the licensee Rosa Woltman. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
