25 | On the above noted date and time Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Diana Brasel arrived at the facility to meet with Karen Winter for the purpose of inspecting playground 3. Since the pre-licensing visit conducted on 08/13/2024, the facility has enclosed the large playground structure for children ages 5-12 located on playground 3. The facility now plans to use playground 3 for additional outdoor space. The facility has put in place a children's colorful plastic fencing using metal stakes and zip ties to secure the fencing. The fencing will prevent access to the large play structure that is not age appropriated for the licensed preschool children. Staff shall provide direct supervision at all times to ensure no child accesses the off limit area surrounding the play structure. The fenced area around the play structure appears to be an egg shape. Staff showed LPA at time of visit how they would open a section during non-operating hours of the preschool so the church can gain access when needed. The staff are able to open a section without moving the secured plastic fence panels which will ensure the permanent placing is not disturbed, causing changes to the measurements.
Playground 3 measures 3848. in addition to the previous measurements for playground 1, 2 and the courtyard of 10035.01, now giving a total 13883.01 outdoor space, which is sufficient for the requested capacity of 133.
An exit interview was conducted with Karen Winter, a copy of this report was provided, along with appeal rights.
