25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brian Morris conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection for a large family childcare at the above home on 09/26/2025 at 09:00 AM. LPA met with Applicant Ingrid Lobos, who guided LPA on a tour of the home at 9:05 AM. There was 00 children present when LPA arrived. Applicants are applying for a large childcare license. Per Applicant, hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 07:00 AM to 06:00 PM. Applicant states they will provide care for children 2 months to 13 years of age.
This is a single-story home consisting of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room, daycare room, daycare room bathroom, daycare room office, laundry room, front yard and backyard. The home was inspected for safety, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children are kept in garage area which is a key locked door.
Areas used by children include: The daycare room classroom, daycare room bathroom, daycare room office, backyard area. Areas off limits include: Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, the kitchen area, television room, dining room, garage area, backyard workshop, laundry room. Off limit areas are made inaccessible by baby gates. Knives and other sharp utensils are locked in kitchen cabinets and drawers. Cleaning products are made inaccessible by a key lock and kept in the garage area.
The home is clean, neat, and orderly, there are outlet covers throughout the home. Smoke/carbon monoxide detector was observed, tested by applicant, and found to be operable.
Applicants have completed the required preventative health and safety course which includes nutrition and prevention of lead exposure, and the Pediatric First Aid and CPR. Applicants have proof of immunization against pertussis and measles, and declination letters for influenza on file. Proof of Mandated Reporter Training was also provided.
