25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gabriela Hernandez conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection for a Large family childcare at the above home on 09/11/2025 at 8:20 AM. Fire Clearance was approved by Coachella Fire Department on 09/03/2025. LPA met with Applicant Bianca Rodriguez Ramirez, who guided LPA on a tour of the home. Per Applicant, hours of operation will be Monday thru Saturday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Applicant states they will provide care for children 0 months to 7 years of age.
This is a single story home consisting of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room, front yard and backyard. The home was inspected for safety, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items. Knives medicines, and non-toxic cleaning supplies are stored in an upper kitchen cabinet that has a safety strap on the cabinet. The kitchen is off-limit area.
Areas used by children include: Bedroom listed as “Daycare Room”, Bedroom #1, Bathroom #1, and Living Room. Areas off limits include: Master Bedroom, Bedroom #2, Kitchen, Dining Room, Bathroom #2, Laundry Room, Garage, and Backyard. There is a safety gate in place preventing access to Master Bedroom, Bathroom #2, and Bedroom #2. There is a Safety Lever Handle lock preventing access to Laundry Room. Applicant also installed safety gate so children do not have access to Kitchen and Dining room.
The home is clean, neat, and orderly, there are outlet covers throughout the home. LPA observed age-appropriate toys and learning materials. Smoke/carbon monoxide detector was observed, tested by applicant, and found to be operable. |
