13 | On 9/22/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valerie Flores conducted an unannounced visit to the facility for the purpose of initiating the complaint investigation into the allegation listed above. LPA Flores met with Resident Care Director, Tracie Edmonds, and explained the purpose of the visit. The investigation is summarized as follows:
On 9/20/2026, Community Care Licensing (CCL) received information alleging staff do not safeguard residents personal belongings. Interview with Relevant Party (RP) reports that they suspect Resident #1's (R1) Power of Attorney (POA) to be taking R1's belongings. RP confirmed that they do not suspect facility staff to be associated to what is being alleged against R1's POA.
Therefore, the allegation of staff do not safeguard residents personal belongings is deemed unfounded.A finding of unfounded indicates that the allegation is false, could not have happened, or is without a reasonable basis.
An exit interview was conducted where a copy of this report was provided to Resident Care Director, Tracie Edmonds. |
