32 | R1 denied having knowledge that the ring belonged to R2, however it is clear that R2's name is engraved inside the ring. In addition further documentation revealed that R2 had lost their credit card earlier in the day on March 13, 2023 and R1 had turned it in to R2 saying "there's only $14.00 on it".
Per the Administrator Patrick no further action was taken because R2 stated that they let R1 use their card to make a purchase. Administrator Patrick further stated that there was always a suspicion but no evidence to support the suspicion until recently. R1 has been found being in other resident apartments, and "things" go missing such as Resident #3 (R3) as gold plated scissors.
R1 denies having taking the ring and going to put it on ebay and stated that they found it under their bed. R1 did in fact have the intent to sell R2's ring without their knowledge. During conducted interview with LPA, R1 did admit that they like to sell things on ebay and normally use their laptop to do so. R1 had been warned in past about their behavior and was told what could potentially happen. The allegation of illegal eviction is UNFOUNDED. A finding that the complaint is unfounded means that the allegation is false, could not have happened, and/or is without a reasonable basis. Therefore, the department had therefore dismissed the complaint. |
