13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sarina Ramirez conducted an unannounced visit to deliver findings on the allegation mentioned above. LPA met with House Manager and explained the purpose of the visit.
It is alleged Licensee is financially abusing resident(s) in care. Interviews with residents revealed that they are not financially abused. Interviews with staff revealed that they have never financial abused the residents and have not witnessed any financial abuse from the staff. Records review revealed that the residents money ledgers are managed appropriately, however often times cashed late, rather than being withheld or not distributed
Based on the above information, the allegation is therefore unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is UNSUBSTANTIATED means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.
An exit interview was conducted where this report was discussed and provided to House Manager Raven Johnson at the conclusion of the visit. |
