25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melana Llopis arrived at the facility on 04/28/2021 for a scheduled Pre-Licensing Inspection. LPA was greeted at the door by Administrator, Dorin Daniliuc and his wife, Aurelia Jurovschi. The facility has a fire clearance for six (6) non ambulatory residents.
Administrator screened LPA before beginning the inspection.
LPA and Administrator then toured the facility together. Areas inspected include but are not limited to the following:
living room, dining room, kitchen, six (6) resident bedrooms, two (2) resident bathrooms, laundry room, hallway closet, garage, and backyard. LPA observed the facility downstairs to be clean, in good repair and odorless. LPA observed the required documentation posted on the walls. Sharps and cleaning supplies were found to be locked and inaccessible to potential residents. The facility was stocked with an adequate amount of two (2) day perishable and seven (7) day nonperishable food supply. Facility was found to have an adequate amount of personal protective equipment (PPE). The fire extinguisher was found to be fully charged and last serviced on 03/11/2021. The facility had a dual working fire alarm and carbon monoxide device. Fire doors were tested and in working order. Emergency exit gate was found to be unlocked and easily accessible. First aid kit was found to be complete.
The facility is currently undergoing remodeling upstairs which will be occupied by the live in staff. Two (2) of the six (6) rooms for residents are move in ready, however four (4) of the six (6) are storing owner's personal belongings until the upstairs renovations are complete.
LPA will schedule a pre-licensing continuation visit in a few weeks to ensure home improvements have been completed and all six (6) rooms are move in ready.
