This is an amended report due to error on original 11/22/2024 9099. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jennifer Velasco met with Facility Representative, Director Chris Padilla (Director), to provide findings of the complaint investigation. The purpose of today's inspection was explained to Director. During the investigation, LPA observed care, requested relevant documentation, and interviewed children, parents, and staff. It was alleged that a staff mishandled a daycare child. LPA observed appropriate staff/child interaction, reviewed facility records, and interviewed children, parents, and staff. Observations, records review, and witness statements did not corroborate the allegation that a staff mishandled a child. It was also alleged that a staff was verbally abusive toward a daycare child. LPA observed appropriate staff/child interaction, reviewed facility records, and interviewed children, parents, and staff. LPA observations, records review, and witness statements did not corroborate the allegation that a staff verbally abused a child in care. Although the allegations may have happened, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegations; therefore, the allegations are unsubstantiated. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative, Chris Padilla. Appeal rights were provided. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
