25 | At 1:45PM January 13th, 2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Arianna Manabat and Tiffanie Diep met with Site Supervisor Stacy Phillips, for the purpose of an announced case management - licensee initiated inspection. Licensee requests a capacity change from 87 to 98 children. During today's visit there were 13 children in care. The facility's current hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
A health and safety inspection was conducted in all areas accessible to children. LPAs observed the facility had a sufficient amount of furniture, toys, and cubbies in the classrooms. LPAs observed tables and chairs suitable for preschool sized children. LPA observed disinfectants and medications are inaccessible and appropriately stored.
The total square footage for the classrooms is 3,684.26 square feet; C1= 672 sqft, C2=650.22 sqft, C3=699sqft, C4=823.5sqft, and C5= 839.46sqft which will accommodate 105 preschool children. These measurements will accommodate the requested 98 children.
LPAs observed the outdoor play area is fenced and equipped with a sufficient amount of play equipment and toys. The outdoor space was previously measured and includes 9,520 square feet which will accommodate 126 children. There is sufficient resilient material underneath climbing structures to absorb a fall.
As of today January 13th, 2023 the facility is licensed to serve children 98 children from ages 2 years to entry into kindergarten, 32 which are toddlers 18-36 months under a toddler program PENDING MANAGER APPROVAL. An exit interview was conducted and in the areas that were evaluated, no deficiencies were observed at the time of the inspection. Notice of Site was provided and must remain posted for 30 days |
