Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gagandeep Singh met with facility representative, Cheryl Dawson and Betsy Uda, for a case management inspection. The facility requested the increase in capacity of toddlers from 24 toddlers to 27 toddlers.

During today's inspection, LPA inspected and measured toddler classrooms and play yards. The facility is using three classrooms for toddlers and one classroom for preschool age children. LPA measured 1887.493 Sqft classrooms space for toddlers. The facility has two play yards for toddlers and one play yard for preschool age children. LPA measured 3140.845 Sqft for outdoor space for toddlers. LPA observed facility has ten sinks and four toilets available for toddlers. LPA observed each classroom has fully charged fire extinguisher, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors and first aid supplies available. There are plenty of age appropriate toys available. Sink and toilet areas has proper sanitization and fully stocked with cleaning supplies.

During today's inspection, LPA did not observe any hazard for children in toddler component. Based on the measurements taken today, the facility meets the indoor and outdoor space requirement. The updated and approved fire inspection clearance was received from local fire department for the asked capacity. Therefore, as of today, the facility is granted updated license for 47 children, which includes 20 preschool age children and 27 toddlers. The copy of this report is reviewed and provided to facility representative, Cheryl Dawson. Notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for 30 days.
