Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gagandeep Singh met with the director, Janell , to deliver the findings of the above allegation. Purpose of the inspection was explained.
The facility was alleged for not having classrooms at comfortable temperature. During the investigation, LPA inspected the facility multiple times and interviewed random staff. During inspection, the classrooms were at comfortable temperature. During interviews, it was found that the air conditioning unit for preschool stopped working on June 16, 2022 and was working on June 27, 2022. It was found that the facility had portable air conditioners in the mean time to keep the temperature at comfort level. Under section 101239(a)(a) in Title 22, it states that The licensee shall maintain the temperature in rooms that children occupy between a minimum of 68 degrees F and maximum of 85 Degrees F. During the investigation, no evidence of temperature of being higher that 85 Degrees F was found. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. Copy of this report is reviewed and provide to the director. Copy of the notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for next 30 days.
