25 | On 7/10/2023 at approximately 9:00am, Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Arianna Manabat and LPA Stephanie Piring met with Licensee Representative Lisa Teal for the purpose of an unannounced change of capacity case management inspection. The Licensee requests a total of 8 infant children ages 0-24 months and 32 toddler children ages 18-36 months. The fire clearance was received and granted on 06/27/2024. The program operates Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There are two buildings on site that are used by the facility. The toddler classrooms are located in U-3 and the left side of U-2. The infant classroom is located in the U-2 room on the right side, closest to the parking lot. During today's visit, LPAs observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, nap mats, and cubbies. CAB LPA measured the indoor space and found that the toddler rooms measured for a total of 2,024.78 square feet, which will accommodate Licensee’s request for 32 toddlers. Additionally, LPAs measured the infant indoor space for a total of 1459.06 square feet which will accommodate the facility's request for 8 infant children. There are a total of 6 sinks and one toilet, 4 cribs, and a private restroom for staff located inside of the U-2 room.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There are three outdoor areas on site. The yard attached to the U-3/U-4 portables is meant for the preschool. The larger outdoor play yard, adjacent to the U-2 room is the toddler yard. Finally, the smaller yard is the infant yard. The outdoor play area is fenced with a chain link fence that is at least four feet tall. LPAs observed a sufficient amount of equipment and toys available for use. There are two play structures in the toddler yard which are designated for ages 6 months - 23 months. The Facility Representative was reminded to follow the safety label and staff will provide supervision to ensure children under the age of 6 months and over the ages of 23 months will not be using the play structure.
