Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Seychelle De Luca and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Josiah Gathing, met with Licensee Danelle Ingalls and Facility Representative Brittney Paiva for the purpose of an informal office visit.

LPM defined the difference between Non-Compliance and an Informal meeting. LPM advised that the purpose of today's meeting is to help the facility gain compliance.

Today's informal meeting was to discuss the Type A and B citations issued from 12/8/2022-9/6/2024 during Complaint, Required – 1 Year, and Case Management Inspections.

On 12/8/2022 the facility was cited a type A deficiency regarding Personal Rights.
On 6/20/2023 the facility was cited a type A citation regarding License.
On 9/29/2023 the facility was cited a type A citation regarding Personal Rights.
On 9/26/2024 the facility was cited a type B citation regarding Other.
On 10/2/2024 the facility was cited a type B citation regarding Personal Rights.

Licensee stated that she has taken the following steps to maintain compliance:

1. Facility established new rule about not giving hugs or kisses.
2. Facility plans to make a police report to counteract potential harassment.
3. A new lock on the gate has been installed.
4. Training for staff having to do with comingling, food training, safe touching, communication.

LPA Gathing discussed Personal Rights. LPA discussed follow up documentation for file. LPA and LPM reviewed License and Other requirements. LPM provided information regarding the Technical Support Program (TSP), which is a non-enforcement arm of the Community Care Licensing Division offering onsite support to licensees and providers. Licensee will follow up with request to LPA for TSP services. LPA discussed using the Department website (ccld.ca.gov) for child care updates, current forms, legislation and regulation information. LPA discussed training videos available at https://caearlychildhoodonline.org/ and ccld.childcarevideos.org.
