At approximately 1:15PM on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Arianna Manabat met with Licensee Amanda Garcia, for the purpose of an announced case management - licensee initiated inspection. Licensee requests a room addition/ change. During today's visit there were 9 children in care with 1 teacher and two aides..

A health and safety inspection was conducted in all areas accessible to children. LPA observed the facility had a sufficient amount of furniture, toys, and cubbies in the classrooms. LPA observed disinfectants and medications are inaccessible and appropriately stored.

The total square footage for the library space being utilized measures 948.23 square feet; which will accommodate the requested capacity for 24 preschool children.

LPA observed the outdoor play area is fenced and equipped with a sufficient amount of play equipment and toys. The outdoor space was previously measured at the initial pre-licensing. There is sufficient resilient material underneath climbing structures to absorb a fall.

As of March 1st, 2023, the facility is LICENSED TO SERVE CHILDREN FROM AGES 2 YEARS THROUGH ENTRY INTO KINDERGARTEN IN PORTABLE #1 AND THE LIBRARY SPACE.

An exit interview was conducted and in the areas that were evaluated, no deficiencies were observed at the time of the inspection. Notice of Site was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
