25 | On 03/10/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Arianna Manabat met with the Licensee for an unannounced annual / one year inspection. Facility hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM. During the inspection there were three children in care being supervised by the Licensee and her assistant. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance.
LPA toured the two-story home and conducted a health and safety inspection was conducted in the areas accessible to children. LPA observed that the home has a working telephone, fully charged fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector that meet regulations. LPA observed all the required postings. Licensee locks all poisons with a key lock or combination lock.
Licensee has provided documentation of current immunization records. Children's roster and a current fire drill log. Licensee had a current CPR/First aid card. The Licensee had a completed Mandated Reporter training.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. Licensee is currently in the process of obtaining fingerprint clearance for their son. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
