13 | On November 18th, 2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Arianna Manabat and Jennifer Velasco met with Licensee Mary Runnels at approximately 10:00am for the purposes of an unnanounced complaint investigation. Upon arrival, LPAs observed 6 children in care with the Licensee and a cleared adult living in the home.
It was alleged that there was one or more adult smoking inside the home. During the investigation, LPAs inspected the facility and interviewed the Licensee. During the investigation, LPAs obtained information which the Licensee has disclosed that any activity occurs after hours in off-limits areas inside the home, or outside. LPA Manabat has consulted the Licensee to clarify that smoking can only be conducted outside the home after hours. Based on interviews and observations, the above allegation was found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, (Title 22), is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D.
Appeal rights were provided and exit interview conducted. The Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days. |
