25 | On Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 12:40 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tanya Washington met with Licensee Elena Eirikh for an unannounced case management inspection to increase capacity to the maximum number of 14 children. During today's inspection LPA observed Licensee providing care and supervision to four children who were napping. Facility hours and days of operation are Monday- Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM. Licensee understands that care may not be provided to the same child for over 24 hours.
Licensee owns the home and control of property was previously submitted to the Regional Office. LPA discussed and provided a visual of capacity/ ratio options with and without an assistant. LPA also reminded Licensee that when her or an assistant are left alone with children they divert to small license ratio/ capacity requirements.
On June 12, 2024, Sacramento City Fire Department granted a fire clearance to operate a large license.
The off limit areas in the home will consist of: The bedroom closest to front entrance of the facility, garage and shed in the backyard. The Licensee acknowledged that children may never enter these off-limit areas. Off-limit areas will remain inaccessible to children by closed door and/or supervision. Licensee requested to add a bedroom which was previously identified as off limits. The room appeared safe for children's use and will be utilized for napping purposes. Toxic and hazardous items are inaccessible to children.
Per Licensee there are no weapons on the premises. Licensee's CPR and First Aid is valid until 08/2024. Licensee's Mandated Reporter training was obtained through Child Action Agency on 12/20/2023 and is valid until 12/20/2025.
