13 | On 04/25/2023 at approximately 3:30 PM , Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Arianna Manabat met with Licensee to open and deliver findings for the allegation mentioned above. LPA observed 8 children in care being supervised by the Licensee and her husband. It was alleged that there had been a lack of supervision. Through observations and interviews, LPA found that the Licensee will, sometimes, go to the kitchen to bring children food. LPA has also found that the Licensee will help children change in the restroom, which is outside the sightline of the window at the door. Per interviews, it was stated that the Licensee is present, attends to children in the facility, and answers the door within a minute.
According to interviews and observations, many of the children are listening to music or watching videos, which can cause difficulty to hearing the doorbell. Due to this information, LPA has determined the complaint to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning that although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove it. An exit interview was conducted and a Notice of site visit and appeal rights were assessed. The Notice of site visit shall remain posted for 30 days for guardian/parental review. |
