13 | On 6/14/2023 at approximately 8:45am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Chris Bello and Eduardo Barragan met with Licensee Clarissa Thompson to deliver complaint findings for the allegation mentioned above. During today's visit, LPA observed one daycare child in care being supervised by the Licensee. It was alleged that the Licensee yelled at and does not accord children dignity in their relationship with their caregiver. The initial investigation was conducted by LPA Arianna Manabat. Through interviews with children, parents, and the Licensee, LPA Manabat has found that the Licensee will help to redirect children in care and speak to them upstairs in private as to accord them dignity.
During the investigation, LPA was unable to contact the Reporting Party (RP). Due to conflicting information from interviews, LPA was unable to substantiate the complaint.
Upon review of evidence and interviews, LPA Manabat has determined the complaint to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning that although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove it. LPA Bello and Barragan conducted an exit interview with the Licensee. A Notice of Site Visit was issued and appeal rights were assessed. The Notice of site visit shall remain posted for 30 days for guardian/parental review. |
