25 | On 07/23/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jennie Tedlos conducted a Case Management Inspection for the purpose of making an off-limit area in the facility on-limits. LPA met with Licensee Eileen Argel. LPA observed children supervised by the Licensee.
LPA and Licensee toured the home. LPA was shown the dining room area that Licensee is requesting to be on limits. The area is equipped with children's toys. The dining room area has french doors that lead to the backyard area which has a pool. The doors are locked and blocked off with furniture to restrict children's access to the outside area. The dining room also has child gates to prevent children from going into the other off-limit areas. The Licensee wants to make this dining room the main day care area and place the old day care area off-limits, the recreation room. The guest bathroom was also inspected and will be placed on-limits for children to use. Current off limit areas of the facility will now be: all bedrooms, laundry room, kitchen, garage, family room, backyard, bathoom #1, bathroom #2, and the recreation room. Licensee acknowledges that children may never enter these off-limit areas.
In the areas that were evaluated today, no deficiencies were observed. An exit interview was conducted and Notice of Site Visit was posted by LPA and must remain posted for 30 days. A failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
