Licensing Program Analyst Jennifer Velasco (LPA) met with Facility Representative, Licensee Kelli Vaccaro (D1), to conduct a case management inspection regarding a request to increase capacity. D1 has requested to remove one classroom in suite 1301 from the infant license and add it to the preschool license, and the preschool license will operate in and fully occupy suite 1301. D1 has requested to increase the total capacity for preschool children from 54 to 74, including the school-age waiver for 12 school age children. A Fire Clearance for a capacity increase was approved by the Folsom Fire Marshal with the total number of preschool aged children capped at 67, to include the 12 school age children per the waiver.

LPA observed care and supervision of 47 preschool age children by seven classroom staff. During today's inspection, LPA measured the indoor activity space in the "toddler room" that is to be added to the square footage for the preschool license. LPA measured the added space for Suite 1301, which added space allows D1 to add nine children to the preschool license for a new total preschool license capacity of 67 preschool aged children. No changes were made to the outdoor activity space.

As of today, an increase of capacity from 54 to 67 preschool children is approved.
There were no deficiencies cited during today's visit. This report was reviewed with the director and an exit interview was conducted. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and shall remain posted for 30 days.
