On December 12,2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Salene Mayberry met with Director Frisha Moore to open and close a complaint investigation. During the investigation, LPA toured the facility and observed staff and children in care, obtained pertinent documents and interviewed Director.

It was alleged that the "Facility staff are not taking precautions for COVID-19". LPA's interview, observations and review of relevant documents demonstrated that the facility was taking appropriate precautions against COVID-19.

It was also alleged that the “Facility did not meet reporting requirements" and the "Facility had an outbreak of RSV ”. These allegations and the findings related thereto are being addressed in complaint #53-CC-20221202144841 under the center's infant license (#343621911), filed on December 2, 2022.

Based on LPA’s observations, conflicting statements and a lack of clear corroborating evidence, the above allegations could not be substantiated or dismissed. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the finding is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

An Exit interview was conducted in which the report was reviewed and discussed with the Director. LPA provided a copy of the report and Appeal Rights to Director. A Notice of Site visit was posted by LPA and Director understands it must remain posted for 30 days
