25 | On 08/17/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Soleil Marx, met with Director, Alexandra Trujillo, for the purpose of conducting an unannounced annual inspection. LPA observed a census of 3 infants being supervised by two staff. Facility hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 07:30 AM to 05:30 PM. Facility was reminded to never exceed the conditions, limitations and capacity specified on the license.
LPA inspected indoor activity spaces, restrooms, food service areas, and outdoor activity spaces. Toxic and hazardous items are stored inaccessible to children. The floors and surfaces appeared clean throughout the facility. Indoor furniture, toys, materials were in satisfactory condition. Outdoor activity space, fencing, and climbing equipment were in good repair. LPA observed adequate cushioning in areas underneath climbing equipment and shaded areas provided. Restrooms were well stocked, sanitary, and in operating condition. Uncontaminated drinking water was readily available to children both indoors and outdoors. Kitchen/Food preparation areas were hygienic and foods stored at safe temperatures. Trash bins with waste have tight-fitting lids. LPA observed first aid supplies, carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, and fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher within the facility. LPA observed the facility to be maintaining proper ratio, supervision, and personal rights requirements. There are no bodies of water on the premises.
LPA observed a Needs and Services plan for each infant and an Infant Sleeping Plan (LIC9227) for each child under 12 months of age. LPA observed sleep checks conducted and documented every 15 minutes for all infants under age two. LPA observed a crib or mat/cot for each infant in care equipped with a fitted sheet; all cribs were free of loose articles/objects. Infant diaper changing area is sanitary, within arm's reach of a sink, and contains an easily cleanable mat that meets requirements. Toys are of age-appropriate size, with no small parts. LPA observed bottle prep/food service area was hygienic, food and milk for infants labeled by name and date, and stored at safe temperatures. LPA observed staff documentation of feedings/diaper changes via parent communication app.
