**THIS IS AN AMENDED REPORT**
On Thursday, March 13, 2025, at approximately 9:45 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Josiah Gathing met with Facility Representative Fola Odunlami, for the purpose of a complaint investigation and to deliver findings. It was alleged that staff did not follow safe feeding practices. According to the the party reporting this complaint, it is unsafe to feed popcorn to infants. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, reviewed documents, and made observations.
Staff stated in interview that children have been given popcorn in the facility at the age of 18 or 19 months while under supervision. Staff stated that parents have not expressed concerns about food or snacks in the facility. Parents stated in interview that they receive updates about food and snacks via the Brightwheel application.
Although the alleged violations may have happened or are valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that they did or did not occur, therefore, they are unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted and a notice of site visit provided. Notice of site visit shall remain posted for 30 days.
