| Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Keven Peters and Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Lea Habtom, met with licensee Natalia Boyko and Maksim Boyko for an informal office meeting.
LPM Peters defined the difference between a non-compliance conference and an informal meeting. LPM advised that the purpose of today’s meeting is to help the facility staff gain compliance.
Today’s informal meeting is to discuss Type A citations issued from 02/4/2019 – 12/31/2022 for over capacity and safe sleep regulations.
On 02/4/2019 licensee was cited a Type A citation for over capacity of 16 children and a child sleeping in a stroller.
On 05/27/2022 licensee was cited a Type A citation for over capacity of 16 children and allowing children to access off limit areas.
On 06/02/2022 licensee was cited a Type A citation for over capacity of 17 children and for placing an infant to sleep on a boppy in a pack in play with a blanket.
Facility Representative stated that they have taken the following steps to maintain compliance:
-Have parents stick to their scheduled days and notify parents that make-up days will not be allowed.
-Making sure staff are aware of off-limits areas and keeping children out of off-limits area.
-Licensee will review safe sleep regulations
LPA and LPM reviewed the capacity and infant safe sleep regulations. LPA discussed using the Department website (ccld.ca.gov) for child care updates, current forms, legislation and regulation information. LPM Peters suggested that Licensee can view information videos at www.ccld.childcarevideos.org. LPM also provided information on Technical Support Program and ways to sign up for it.
