On January 30, 2023 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Lea Habtom and Amanda Blesi made an unannounced inspection to the facility. The purpose of today’s visit is to close a complaint investigation. LPAs met with designated staff Sonya Kennedy to deliver the findings. There was a census of the 9 preschool children being supervised by 1 staff. Owner, Courtney Williams, was not present at the time of LPAs arrival and exist. All staff present today have been fingerprint cleared and associated to the facility.

Facility staff refused to provide day care child their asthma medication.

During the investigation, LPA conducted interviews regarding the allegation that facility staff refused to provide day care child their asthma medication. LPA Habtom toured the facility, conducted observation and interviewed those pertinent to the investigation. Based on the investigation, LPA Habtom was unable to gather enough information to validate an incident occurred and that staff refused to provide a day care child with their asthma medication therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegations did or did not occur.
