During the investigation, LPA conducted interviews regarding the allegation that facility staff did not inform day care child's parent of a medical incident involving their child. LPA Habtom toured the facility, conducted observation and interviewed those pertinent to the investigation. Based on the investigation, staff disclosed that a parent was notified at pick up of their child coughing at which point the parent disclosed the medical condition. LPA L. Habtom was unable to determine if the cough was excessive or unusual for the child to state that a medical incident occurred therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegations did or did not occur.
Facility staff are not properly trained.
During the investigation, LPA conducted interviews regarding the allegation that facility staff are not properly trained. LPA Habtom toured the facility, conducted observation and interviewed those pertinent to the investigation. Based on the investigation, LPA L. Habtom was unable to determine if a medical incident occurred to state that staff are not properly trained therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegations did or did not occur.
No Title 22 regulations were cited during today's inspection. A notice of site visit was provided to be posted for 30 days. Appeal rights provided.
