25 | On June 3, 2022 at approximately 1:05 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Josiah Gathing met with licensee Tetiana Volhina for the purpose of a required annual inspection. The facility days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. During today’s inspection, there were four children present, with a total of eight enrolled. Licensee’s husband was also home at the time of today’s inspection. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance.
A health and safety evaluation was conducted in all areas accessible to children. Off-limits areas: Master Bedrom and Garage. LPA observed a full 2A10BC fire extinguisher, and functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. LPA observed first aid kit. Per licensee, there are no weapons in the home. Toxic and hazardous items were inaccessible to children. Required postings were observed near the entrance. The living room fireplace is covered.
During file review, LPA observed all necessary Children’s documents. LPA observed a current children’s roster and a fire drill log, last updated 04/07/2022. LPA observed a current CPR and First Aid Certificate which expires 01/08/2024 and current Mandated Reporter certificate which expires 03/16/2024. LPA advised Licensee to maintain current Preventative Health and Safety Training.
