Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christopher Bello arrived at the facility at approximately 12:45pm and met with Director/Owner Krystal Barlatt to close a complaint investigation, regarding the above allegations. LPA began a tour of the facility at approximately 12:55pm. Upon arrival, LPA observed 14 children with two teachers. During the investigation LPA made observations, conducted interviews and gathered documents pertaining to the investigation. It was alleged that the playground is dirty and that in the facility it is dirty and disorganized. Observations and staff interviews did not corroborate the allegation. One out of the five parent interviews corroborated the allegation. Krystal stated that their curriculum incorporates the children getting dirty and playing. It was alleged that Facility staff are not following COVID guidelines. Observations and staff interviews did not corroborate the allegation. One out of the five parent interviews corroborated the allegation. Krystal stated that staff always wear masks and that they strongly recommend the children to wear their masks. Krystal also stated that they are constantly cleaning the facility. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated. No deficiencies were cited. An exit interview was conducted.
