25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Erwina Pascual-Golamco and Gagandeep Singh, met with Licensee, Maria Voicova, for an unannounced Case Management - Licensee Initiated Backyard Inspection with in ground pool. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance. Facility operates Monday through Sunday with variable hours as needed.
Licensee requested to place backyard as an area accessible to children. LPA observed backyard is fenced, there is an in-ground pool on the premises, and the fence completely surrounds the pool, with no window and door access to the pool. LPA observed that the fence is constructed so that it does not obscure the pool from view, gates swing away from the pool, self-close and are self-latching. Self-latching device is located no more than six inches from the top of the gate. Fence is not easily climbable by children. Opening between railings does not exceed 4 inches, Bottom of fence is no more than 4” from the ground on hard surface, except at one section. There are no horizontal railings, as the fence is made out of mesh material. Fencing is thick enough that it cannot easily be broken, removed, or stretched by children. LPA consulted applicant regarding the following topics: PIN 23-17-CCLD (YEAR-ROUND/DAILY REMINDER OF WATER SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND MEASURES) and best practices. |
