On April 25, 2024, at 1:00p.m., Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Pa Dao Vang and Fabian Schwartz met with Licensee Natalie Garcia to conduct an unannounced inspection to deliver a complaint finding. There were 3 children napping and supervised in the facility. There was also Licensee’s adult child in the home. All adults obtained background clearence. It was alleged Licensee did not provide adequate food service to day care child and engaged in a verbal altercation in the presence of day care children.

During the inspections on 3/25/2024, and 4/25/2024, LPAs made observations, gather documentation, conducted interviews, and review children’s files. On 3/25/2024, LPA observed children being served with proper meals in the kitchen. According to parent interviews, they do not have any concerns about inappropriate language or conversations near or in front of children. Licensee stated children were not present near the front door, when talking to a parent.

Therefore, although the alleged violations may have happened or are valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that they did or did not occur, therefore they are unsubstantiated. There is no deficiency issued today. An exit interview was conducted and notice of site visit and appeal rights were provided to Licensee Natalie Garcia.
