On Tuesday July 09, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts Stephanie Piring and Office Technician (OT) Yvonne Flores met with Director, Brittany Ackerson, and Regional Director Cindy Bunton for the purpose of delivering findings pertaining to the above allegation. LPA observed a census of 14 napping toddlers being supervised by 2 staff and 22 napping preschool age children being supervised by two staff. During today's visit, LPA toured the facility and observed care.

It was alleged the facility is operating out of ratio and that staff do not provide a comfotable environment for daycare children. LPA observed adequate staffing in both the preschool and toddler option classrooms during . During interviews, staff and director reported that the Air Conditioner was not working properly for a day, however the facilty provided portable air conditioners and contacted a company for repair. The Air Conditioiner was repaired and working during LPAs visits. Although the allegation(s) may have happened, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegation; therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative Brittany Ackerson. Appeal rights were provided. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
